Scott R. Stevens, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Scott Stevens is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon fellowship-trained in sports medicine. He specializes in treating athletes and active patients of all ages with injuries and conditions affecting the bones, joints, muscles, and other soft tissues. Dr. Stevens has served area residents in Mankato, Minnesota, and the surrounding communities since 1999.

Before joining The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic, Dr. Stevens completed an exclusive fellowship for advanced sports medicine training at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. Prior to that, Dr. Stevens had received his undergraduate degree in biology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. He was trained in general surgery and orthopaedic surgery through his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. 

In his practice, Dr. Stevens uses years of dedicated expertise to diagnose issues and develop courses of action with each of his patients in treating their individual condition. He provides the latest, proven methods in sports medicine and orthopaedic trauma and specializes in minimally invasive joint repair procedures, fracture repair, and additional sports medicine care for adult and pediatric patients.
