Ambulatory surgical procedures – also referred to as outpatient or same-day surgery – can be completed without an overnight hospital stay. It’s a cost-effective choice when surgery is not an emergency and can be planned in advance with your physician. In most cases, you recuperate in the comfort of your own home.
The 16,000 square-foot facility is located at the Wickersham Health Campus, and is the first of its kind in southern Minnesota. It includes four surgery suites and two procedure rooms.
